2.1 The terms and conditions contained in these General Conditions are applicable to each and every Prize Draw run by the Promoter.
2.2 The Website publicises Prize Draws run by the Promoter and allows individuals to enter Prize Draws online (free postal route of entry is also available). The Promoter may run several Prize Draws at the same time as displayed on the Website from time to time. Each Prize Draw shall have its own name and the Prize for that Prize Draw will be displayed on the Website.
2.3 Alongside these General Conditions, each Prize Draw has its own specific terms and conditions known as the Prize Conditions. Individual Prize Conditions apply to an individual Prize Draw and provides further conditions and details relating to that particular Prize Draw. The Prize Conditions for all Prize Draws can be located on the Website.
2.4 Where there is a conflict between the General Conditions and the Prize Conditions, the Prize Conditions will take precedence.
2.5 By submitting a Prize Draw entry, the Entrant agrees to be bound by these General Conditions and the applicable Prize Conditions and the General Conditions and the applicable Prize Conditions form a binding contract. If an Entrant does not agree to the General Conditions or the applicable Prize Conditions then they should not enter a Prize Draw.
2.6 The Promoter’s decisions regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about them.
2.7 These General Conditions may be updated from time to time. Entrants should check these General Conditions (including all relevant Prize Conditions) each time they enter any Prize Draw to ensure that they understand the terms that apply at the time that they enter that Prize Draw.
3. How to enter
3.1 Each Prize Draw will run from an opening date and a closing date which is detailed in the Prize Conditions (Submission Period). All entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the time on the closing date as set out in the Prize Conditions. All entries received after the closing date stated in the Prize Conditions are automatically disqualified.
3.2 To enter a Prize Draw through the Website, Entrants must first create an online account by providing an email address, name, date of birth, residential address and contact telephone number. Entrants’ information shall be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. It is the responsibility of Entrants to keep their account details private, accurate and up to date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for an Entrant’s failure to keep their account details updated or secure. Entrants must contact the Promoter immediately if they believe, suspect or know that a third party has used their account and/or given any instruction in relation to it without permission, or if they believe, suspect or know their password has been compromised. There is no charge payable for creating an account. Once an Entrant has created an online account, they may then enter a Prize Draw.
3.3 Following creation of an account, there are two methods of entry for all Prize Draws:
a) Paid Method of Entry (Paid Method of Entry):
Entrants may enter a Prize Draw online by purchasing online entries on the Website during the Submission Period. The Entrant will need to be logged into their account and to purchase entries the Entrant will need to submit their full name, home address with postcode email address and telephone number before entering payment information and completing their payment. Entrants must be located in the United Kingdom when entries are purchased. Entrants may purchase multiple entries in one transaction and the Entrant can make more than one transaction, subject to any entry limits set out in the Prize Conditions.
b) Free Method of Entry (Free Method of Entry):
Entrants may enter a Prize Draw for free by sending a postcard or letter with their full name, home address with postcode, email address, telephone number and the name of the Prize Draw they are entering (e.g. “Unlockd – Bath Prize Draw”). All information supplied must exactly match the information displayed in the Entrant’s account. The postcard or letter must be sent to the address set out in the applicable Prize Conditions and the entry must originate from within the United Kingdom. There is a limit of one entry per envelope. The provisions of clause 3.4 shall apply to the Free Method of Entry.
3.4 The following provisions shall apply to the Free Method of Entry:
(a) A postal entry will be deemed submitted when it has been received by the Promoter.
(b) Entrants may make multiple postal entries for a Prize Draw (subject to any Entry Limit as specified in the Prize Conditions) provided that each postal entry is submitted and posted to the Promoter separately. Multiple and bulk entries posted in one envelope or package will not be accepted and this shall be classed as one entry. One postal entry means one entry into the Prize Draw.
(c) Once a postal entry has been received and validated, the Entrant will be allocated one entry at random and this will appear in the Entrant’s online account.
(d) Invalid, incomplete or illegible postal entries, or entries received after the closing date specified in the Prize Conditions will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
(e) Postal entries must be received on or before the closing date for the Prize Draw stated in the Prize Conditions. Entrants must allow plenty of time for their postal entry to arrive.
(f) Postal entries should be made by first or second class post, the Promoter cannot accept “signed for” deliveries.
(g) Entrant must ensure that their postal entry details contain all of the required information otherwise the Promotor will be unable to attribute the postal entry to the Entrant’s account and that entry will not be valid nor entered into the Prize Draw.
(h) The Promotor cannot acknowledge receipt of postal entries
3.5 Unlockd may, at its discretion, host additional supplementary Prize Draws (Supplementary Prize Draws). Supplementary Prize Draws are only open to those who enter a specific Prize Draw during the Supplementary Prize Period specified in the Prize Conditions. To be eligible for the Supplementary Prize Draw, Entrants who enter the eligible Prize Draw must opt-in, as specified in the applicable Prize Conditions. Unless stated otherwise, Entrants will receive the same number of entries into the Supplementary Prize Draw as they get in the eligible Prize Draw within the timeframe, regardless of how they entered (Paid Method of Entry or Free Method of Entry), up to the Entry Limit for the Supplementary Prize Draw (if any). Where the Entrant enters a Supplementary Prize Draw via the Free Method of Entry they must clearly opt-in to the Supplementary Prize Draw on their postal entry.
3.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw.
3.7 If for any reason the Entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the Entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in a Prize Draw.
3.8 The Promotor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for each Prize Draw. Entrants should not enter a Prize Draw after the closing date specified in the Prize Conditions as this will result in that entry not being counted but the Entrant may still be charged.
3.9 Should an Entrant’s payment fail or be reversed then their entry will automatically be cancelled, and their tickets will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
3.10 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel any Prize Draw at any time prior to its closing date and should this be the case, the Promoter will notify each Entrant via their online account or by email. The Promotor shall then refund any payment made to Entrants using the same method as payment was made within 30 days. Where a payment has been refunded the Promoter will have no further liability to the Entrant for cancellation of a Prize Draw.
3.11 For help with entries, please see www.unlockd.uk.com.

4.2 In entering the Prize Draw, an Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize they may win. The Promoter may require an Entrant to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Prize Draw as well as requiring an Entrant to provide evidence to enable the Promoter to verify their identity. This may include providing certified copies of a passport, driving licence or any other documentation which is necessary to satisfy the Promoter of the Entrant’s eligibility and identity.

However, for paid methods of entry, there is a £500 per Entrant monthly purchase limit on the Website. These limitations only apply to paid online methods of entry – the Promoter does not limit the number of postal entries that can be made via the Free Method of Entry.
4.6 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify an Entrant if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.
4.7 Entrants should note that Prize Draw entries cannot be returned.
5.1 The draw for each Prize Draw will take place on the draw date as set out in the applicable Prize Conditions. The winner of the Prize Draw shall be randomly selected from all qualifying entries by using a random number generator (Winner). There will be one winner of the Prize. The process does not distinguish in any way between Paid Method of Entry and Free Method of Entry.
5.2 In the event of an error occurring during a draw, including but not limited to, human error, or an incorrect range of ticket numbers being used, which may affect the draw process, the Promoter reserves the right to delay, restart, reschedule, and/or redraw the affected Prize Draw to establish a winning ticket number.
5.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and county of the Winner on the Website (Announcement Date).
5.4 If an Entrant objects to any or all of their surname and county being published or made available, they should contact the Promoter info@unlockd.uk.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
5.5 The Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner personally on or around the Winner Notification Date set out in the Prize Conditions, using the email address provided with the winning entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the entry has been submitted.
5.6 Winners must respond to the notification email within the Winner Acceptance Timeframe set out in the Prize Conditions, or as otherwise set out in the notification email. Where a winner fails to respond within the Winner Acceptance Timeframe, that winner may be disqualified and lose their claim to any Prize. Where a winner does not respond to the notification email, the Promoter may try to phone the winner where a phone number has been provided, however it is under no obligation to do so.
5.7 A Winner will only become eligible for a Prize once all necessary verification, eligibility and confirmation processes have taken place. The Promoter’s decision as to whether the relevant processes have been complete is final and binding.
5.8 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify a Winner if they:
i. do not meet the eligibility criteria;
ii. do not comply with either these General Conditions, the Prize Conditions or any other rules, terms and conditions stated by the Promoter;

5.9 If a Winner is deemed ineligible or disqualified for any reason or if they decide not to accept a transfer of the Property, a new Winner will be selected randomly from the remaining eligible entries. This process will repeat until the Prize (and any Supplementary Prize if applicable) is successfully awarded. The selected alternate Winner will be notified according to the procedures set forth in these General Conditions.
6.1 Prizes and any elements thereof are determined by the Promoter and specific details of Prizes are set out in the Prize Conditions. All Entrants should read the Prize Conditions to ensure they can comply with any conditions relating to the Prize.
6.2 Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all Prizes are awarded as is, without any representations or warranties (other than those which cannot be excluded by applicable law), and cannot be transferred, sold, substituted, or redeemed for cash by the Entrant. The Promoter reserves the right, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, to substitute any Prize with an alternative item of comparable or greater value or cash.
6.3 Save as otherwise set out in the Prize Conditions, all applicable taxes, fees and other expenses in connection with a Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
6.4 The Promoter will not replace any prize for any reason once it has been provided to the Winner.
6.5 Winners have the right to decline the Prize at any time up to the Announcement Date and where they do so they will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. Where a Winner rejects the Prize or does not accept the Prize within the relevant time period, the Winner is not eligible for any alternative Prize or any other form of compensation.
